Entrapment.

The complete and official text of the statute.
(1) In any prosecution for a crime, it is a defense that the defendant was entrapped. To establish the defense of entrapment, the defendant must prove by a preponderance of the evidence that he or she was induced to commit the crime by a law enforcement agent or a person acting in cooperation with such an agent.
(2) A law enforcement agent or a person acting in cooperation with such an agent entraps a person if he or she originates the idea of the crime and induces the person to commit it by persuasion or trickery, or by creating a substantial risk that the crime will be committed by a person other than one who is ready to commit it.
