The complete and official text of the statute.

(1) Justifiable homicide or use of deadly force by a public officer, peace officer, or person acting under an officer's command and in his or her aid is governed by the standard in RCW 9A.16.040.
(2) Justifiable homicide by any person other than a public officer, peace officer, or person acting under an officer's command and in his or her aid is governed by the standard in RCW 9A.16.050.
